Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.– noon; 1 p.m.–5 p.m.
Parking can be found at the Atwater Parking Garage, located next door to Emeriti House (to the west, and on the same side of the street). During the work week, parking is free for those with IU’s EM-P (premium) permits; others must pay a fee. On weekends parking is free for everyone. Individuals with an EM-S (standard) permit (and any other permit except EM-P) must pay an hourly fee, but can park free of charge after 5 p.m. Those without a permit may park in the garage and pay the hourly fee directly to the attendant. If attending an Emeriti House event, you may park free of charge in the Atwater Parking Garage, take a ticket upon entry, and see Nat, Emeriti House Coordinator, directly after the event for validation. Bicycle racks are located in the alley behind Emeriti House as well as inside the Atwater Garage.
Emeriti House is accessible to all. Ramp access is available for those with limited mobility.
Parking for those with IU Disabled permits is located in the alley behind Emeriti House. There are six clearly demarcated EM/RE (retired) parking spaces in the alley for Emeriti House use only. Visitors to Emeriti House should not park in these spaces during EH events unless they need to do so due to physical mobility issues.
Routes A and B on the campus bus schedule will take you past Emeriti House.
